Jennifer Thoben has been a dedicated member of the Tanbridge family for several years, supporting the staff with her inspiring ideas, creativity, and boundless energy. Jenn approaches everything in her life with passion and for her, being an educator is more than just a job. She instills the same passion in her junior high students in her Language Arts, Social Studies, and Culinary Arts classes.
Jenn grew up in the small town of Onoway, outside of Edmonton, where she attended the University of Alberta and obtained her Bachelor’s of Education before moving south. Today Jenn, her husband, and their adorable golden-doodle, Lola, are happy to call Calgary home. Last year, Jenn and her husband became proud parents to their daughter, Ayla.
When Jenn is not in her classroom, she can be found on the ice with her women’s hockey team, camping with her family, snowboarding in the mountains, and chasing her young daughter around.
Jenn is excited for this coming year with the Tanbridge team, eager for new experiences, mastering new responsibilities, and working with another group of amazing students.contact
