Jennifer Thoben

Vice Principal K-5

Jennifer Thoben has been a dedicated member of the Tanbridge family for several years, supporting other faculty and staff members with her inspiring ideas, creativity and boundless energy. Jenn approaches everything in her life with passion and for her, being an educator is more than just a job. She instils the same passion in her junior high students through her Language Arts, Social Studies and Culinary Arts classes.

Jenn grew up in the small town of Onoway, just outside of Edmonton, playing hockey and enjoying skiing in her spare time. Jenn attended the University of Alberta and obtained her Bachelor of Education degree before moving south. Today, she motivates her students with her outgoing personality and sincere caring for everyone she teaches.

When Jenn is not in her classroom, she can be found in her local barre studio, on the ice with her women’s hockey team, camping and playing softball.
